School holidays are special times to share with our children, when we are able to get that time off work. But craft activities and all the mess and cost that goes with it, isn’t every parents/grandparents idea of having fun.
If you would like to have a short (sanity) break, enjoy a cuppa and chat, or read your book, while I facilitate an activity providing your children with the opportunity to do something creative and fun, see the many options below, suitable for ages eight to fifteen.
Most activities will be approximately 90 minutes, and I supply everything that is needed to complete each activity in the set price.
From Christmas craft to mindfulness, paint and craft, learning how to journal for personal growth, or connect with a Nature based activity, each workshop has something for your child to accomplish and take home with them.
Christmas Hanging

This simple design is suitable for a child as young as 8 years old, and only requires hand cordination skills to tie knots.
What’s Behind Your Mask
Price $25 per child

Join in this mask decorating activity. Your child will enjoy the challenge of creating a mask to suit their alter ego, perhaps a super hero, angel or a villian.
They will have fun painting a mask before adding all the decorations such as feathers, wool, glue and glitter or collage, for the perfect holiday disguise.
Learning Journaling For 2024
Price $45 per child

Tweens and teens come and learn the art and benefits of journalling. The “I’m Listening Young Entrepreneur Journal” will be used as we guide your young person in the art of building confidence, resilience, expressing gratitude, kindness and developing emotional intelligence. Each participant will take home their journal full of different affirmations, and eight simple but powerful practices that if repeated daily, create the healthy habits of many highly successful and respected people.
The Spirit of Christmas
Price $20 per child

Encourage your child to connect with the spirit of Christmas. Your child will enjoy creating seasonal cards to gift to loved ones, while they share what they cherish more about this time of year. These special messages will be inserted into their Christmas creations, to make a very unique card.
Paint and Plant
Price $25 per child

Your child will have fun decorating their pot and saucer with paint, ready to plant a hardy succulent to grow and nurture.
They will learn what it takes to grow a plant and discover the difference between helping a plant survive, or to thrive.
Your child will take home their hand painted pot with a plant, in a little carry bag.
Family Trees

Encourage your children to have fun making their own version of their little family tree.
We reflect on family and what makes our family special to us, as we place our base templates on our tree (ready for photos) and add a collection of buttons to finish off our creation, reflecting on how colourful, creative, brave and resilient family can be. We also acknowledge how some special people in our life, that we may consider to be family, are not always blood relations.
Christmas Table Decoration

Allow your child to give you the gift of a festive table centrepiece this Christmas.
Your child will have a great time painting and decorating a timber tree, using sequins, stickers, stars and trims. And adding that magical finishing touch with twinkling lights.
Zen Garden Sand Tray

Encourage your young ones to learn a Mindfulness & Self Care practice - the gift that keeps on giving.
Young people can join me for a short mind break and learn how to use their own Zen Garden Sand Tray for destressing, calming & refocusing. This simple relaxation & calm down technique can help busy minds & bodies settle with a healthy time in.
Nature Mandala

Encourage your child to discover the joy of using Nature to create their very own Nature Mandala.
First, we paint our board and plan our layout with a collection of seeds, leaves and flowers, ready to transfer to our board. You can glue all your peices in place or just use the board for display and then keep it to reuse next time you are ready to connect with nature.
This activity can be repeated anytime at home, beach or gardens.
