Adult Workshops
Taking time out for you isn’t being selfish, it’s a productive way of maintaining your sense of self and retaining your balance in this crazy world we live in.
Creative workshops offer a little timeout for yourself, for meeting with other like minded people and engaging in a little self-reflection. I provide the resources and clean up the mess, and you get to enjoy a guided activity and take home your creation to gift or keep.
See below for a varied and ever changing range of workshops, from Christmas craft, mindfulness activities, paint and craft, or nature based activities.
No prior artistic skill is required, as I step you through each activity.
Sign up and be informed when and where they are being run, and be entered in the monthly draw for a free workshop. Workshops will be in Redcliffe, Burpengary, Deceptioin Bay area.
Times, dates, and venues are still to be determined, but please indicate your preferences. Private group bookings are available for most workshops.
4 Tier Christmas Hanging
Price $50 per person - prices may vary dependant on the location. Aprox 2 hours duration.
Create your very own festive hanging to reflect some of what is significant to you at this time of year. Assemble and decorate your Christmas hanging wtih lights and baubles. Then, add some of your very own special family Christmas ornaments (optional) to make this a meaningful Christmas show piece in your home this Christmas.

Nature Mandala

Take a journey of calming self-reflection as you connect with Nature and create your own unique, Nature Mandala. After painting and planning our board, we use a range of seed pods, leaves and flowers to create patterns that can bring relaxation. A practice you can continue in your own garden.
Create a Nature Christmas Board
Price $50 per person - prices may vary dependant on the location. Aprox 2 hours duration.
Give yourself the gift of time to relax and have fun with the creation of a Christmas Nature Feature that weaves in the essence of what Christmas means to you and your family. Using a selection of natural seed pods, gumnuts, paint, tinsel, glitter, glue, ribbons and bells to build a picture that reflects your Christmas, with the added feature of lights for each board.
Eco Dyeing

Eco Dyeing is a great workshop to explore the range of colour we can produce from our own backyard. Enjoy the art of creating your own cards or bookmarks, by dyeing paper with plants and natural products.
The results are always surprising and inspirational.
History Behind our Handbags

Today we have fun reflecting on the history of our handbags over the years. Join us for light-hearted and relaxing couple of hours crafting beautiful greeting cards that represent an evening bag, made from lace and trims, to gift or for yourself.

Transitioning to the New You

Who are you? What can you hide behind your mask? We reflect on who we are and how far we have come to be the person we are today – how do we transition from one part of our life into the next? Using paint, collage and a range of other craft we create our very own unique self-reflection mask.
Kintsugi - Repairing & Renewing
Price $35 per person - prices may vary dependant on the location. Aprox 2 hours duration.
Kintsugi is an old tradition from Japan in which broken ceramics are mended with gold. It dates from the 15th century. We take a piece of pottery or china that is already broken (or break it) and then go through the Kintsugi process to repair it, while reflecting on the value of life.
Mindfulness Zen Sandtray

Commit to your mindfulness and self-care practice. Take a short mind break and enjoy your own Zen Garden Sand Tray to use in your home or workspace.
